Saturday, November 22: (End of) Summer 2008 Inductions
In Simon Wiesenthal AZA, Inductions is the ceremony held at the very end of each term, the night before elections. Alephs who have been with us for less than six months are officially "inducted" into the chapter, and the rest of the chapter members are "re-inducted."
Inductions is typically one of the best events of the term. This time around, Aleph Godol Jason Garcia and Aleph Moreh Omer Zach will take you through an incredible night of programming. To find out what makes Inductions so special, make sure to be there! We promise that by the end of the event, alephs will all be experienced rocket scientists and will have a new understanding of what the Aleph Zadik Aleph means to them. Come to Inductions on November 22nd for an event you will never forget.
This event will include an optional overnight for those who would like to stay at Julian's house between Inductions and Elections, which start the next morning promptly at 11.00 AM.

Meet: 6.00 PM promptly at Kehillah Jewish High School (3900 Fabian Way, Palo Alto)
End: 11.00 PM at Julian Wise's House (28610 Matadero Creek Court, Los Altos Hills) [Sleepover optional]
Bring: Ten dollars. All ten. Not nine, eight, or zero. Also, bring sleeping stuff if you plan to stay over, and if you stay over it is not a BBYO sanctioned event.

Sunday, November 23: Elections of the 2008-2009 Winter Board
This event, which is considered just as important as Inductions, is when we elect the new leadership board of Simon Wiesenthal AZA. For those not in the know, boards are elected once every six months, and consist of  Alephs Godol, S'gan, Moreh, Corresponding Mazkir, Recording Mazkir, Gizbor, Shaliach, Sopher, Machshev, Historian Shotare, and Kohane Godol. The roles of each position can be found on the SiWi website (www.siwiaza.org). Remember, it is extremely important that everyone attend this event, if you can. We need at least 16 registered members there!

Meet: 10:00 AM at Jason Garcia's House (3452 Kenneth Drive, Palo Alto)
End: 4:00 PM at Jason Garcia's House
Bring/Cost: NICE CLOTHES, yourself, a written speech if you are running for a position
